Kenneth Bashford, a seasoned butcher, took over Elmfield Way store from his old boss Dave Tann in 2012, building on a legacy of superior service. He sources exceptional, locally-sourced meat, including grass-fed Longhorn beef from the picturesque Halliloo Valley in Woldingham, and Manx Laughton lamb from the Isle of Man.

Beyond providing top-tier meat, Bashford offers a bespoke customer experience, including knife sharpening, butchery workshops, and catering services. The Elmfield Way shop continues to thrive, and Bashford has recently breathed new life into the Kingsmen Pub in Forestdale, introducing the popular Kingsmen Kitchen and its renowned Sunday steak and frites.
